An update on my garden.

Out of the 6 packages of pumpkin seeds I planted only 8 plants survived so far and they are not looking to good. I did notice last night when I was watering that one of then had a little blossom on it. So maybe I will get a little pumpkin, but I'm not counting on it. Our triple digits weather for the last 2 months has taken it's toll on my pumpkins.
My okra is doing very well, and my broccoli is hanging in there.
And I have been giving away fresh Basil to who ever will take it LOL.

I made this little recipe book out of some 4x6 spiral index cards

 

I like this small size because it fits in my purse when I run to the grocery store. And when you print your recipes on typing paper and cut them out and glue in to it; it will hold over 200 recipes

My Tree Skirt

I just finished the Christmas Tree skirt I have been crocheting to match my Tree

 

 

I found this wonderful Paper pack from s-e-i Called "Black Orchid" that is just beautiful and couldn't help thinking how much my mother would love the colors; so I put her picture in this lay out and am going to frame it and hang it in my living room .

I had a lot of fun with this lay out I just used what I had in my stash

Some of the SAHA Challenges I've done

The first one was a Challenge to scrap one of your holidays with a picture of myself
the Second one was a Challenge to use a winter quote supplied by the challenger one each for winter, fall, summer, and spring. I have done the first two so far.
on the winter one I used CTMH baby blue card stock, with the just chillin snow flake stamps in twilight and white daisy ink. I used acrylic paint to do the snow and Mavy Uchida pens to do the tree and the snowman's buttons and hat. On the Autumn one I used my pens some punches and terracotta acrylic paint on the back ground.
